Ascension Content Update - Path of Heroes

Becoming a Hero:

  • Before starting to level as a Hero, you need to become one.
  • Visit NPC Merlin in Hwang Temple and accept his questline.

Questline:

  • Mission 1: Defeat the Cryptus.
  • Mission 2: Defeat the Sylvanus.
  • Mission 3: Defeat the Bone Dragon.
  • Mission 4: Defeat the Midas.
  • Mission 5: Complete Shadow Tower.
  • Mission 6: Kill Monsters.
  • Mission 7: Destroy Mythic Stones.
  • Mission 8: Defeat Beta Bosses.

Hero Leveling:

  • After becoming a Hero, you can start leveling in Hero Maps.
  • For every Hero level:
    • The first 50% of experience is obtained from mobs in Hero maps.
    • The last 50% experience is obtained only by using  Hero Experience Marble, obtained by completing missions at Merlin.

Hero Level Bonuses

  • Hero levels unlock permanent bonuses visible in the character window (press 'C key'):

New Maps Overview
Gwang Chasm(Farming Map)

  • Access Requirements:
    • Requires a  Hero Pass to enter, allowing 1 hour per pass with no cooldown.
    • Multiple passes are required for multiple entries.
    • Players can see each other; it's not a dungeon.
    • Timer displayed under the minimap tracks remaining time.

Features:

  • Contains 2 new stones:
    • Metin Troll Outpost
    • Metin of Perception

    • Offers enhanced fishing, mining, and gathering content.

White Dragon Tunnels (Leveling Map)

  • Access Requirements:
    • No pass required.

    • Cursed Bing-Chiling
    • Mobs offer 10x more experience points compared to Gwang Chasm.

Rune System
Visit the NPC Alchemist to craft Runes and enhance your abilities.

  • Rune Acquisition:
    • Rune pieces are obtainable from monsters starting at level 50.
  • Rune Combination:
    • Combine runes at the Alchemist to create larger runes.
  • There are 5 types of runes:
    • Raw
    • Rare
    • Noble
    • Mythic
    • Legendary

  • Rune Timing:
    • Runes have a time limit that depletes only when they are worn.
  • Rune time extensions can be obtained:
    •  Rune Time Elixir S
    •  Rune Time Elixir M
    •  Rune Time Elixir L
  • Rune Bonuses:
    • Runes have switchable bonuses.
    • The higher the quality of the rune, the more bonuses can be added.
    • Use the Reinforce Rune item (9980) to add bonuses.
    • Enchant Rune item (9980) switches the rune bonus.
  • Rune Inventory:
    • Runes will be equipped in the Rune Inventory Page from the normal inventory.
    • You can equip one rune of each type.

Mining & Gathering

  •  Obsidian Ore:
    • Mineable in the Gwang Chasm.
    • Used to refine into [imgspecialhttps://i.imgur.com/wow0n59.png[/imgspecial] Obsidian Crystal.
    • Obsidian Crystals are used to socket the new accessories.
  •  Celestial Flower:
    • Gatherable from flowers:

  • Use Celestial Flowers to buy new potions from Baek-Go:
    •  Hero Stones Potion
    •  Hero Bosses Potion
  • More uses for Celestial Flowers will be added in an upcoming update.

Fishing

  • Fish and Their Effects:
    •  Nemo Fish
      • 5% Chance of Double Drop Stones for 5 minutes.
    •  Dory Fish
      • 5% Chance of Double Drop Bosses for 5 minutes.
    •  Rosie Fish
      • 5% Strong vs Hero Stones for 10 minutes.
    •  Mango Fish
      • 5% Strong vs Hero Bosses for 10 minutes.
  • Treasures:
    •  Gold Lamp
      • Sellable at NPC for 15kk.

New Passive Skill: Precision

  • Precision Passive Skill:
    • This skill is exclusive to the Continent of Heroes.
    • In the Continent of Heroes, there is a 20% chance to miss your attacks when hitting anything.
    • Leveling up this skill increases your chance to avoid missing.
    • When the skill is maxed, you will never miss any attack.
    • You can level the skill 20 times by using  Precision Book.
